What is Beauty & the Babe?

We are the most contemporary pregnancy related beauty and wellness subscription created by an OB/GYN physician.  Beauty & the Babe is a seasonal subscription box featuring natural, organic, clean, non-toxic pregnancy safe products and brands tailored to your specific stage in the pregnancy journey – preconception, trimesters, and postpartum.  Our goal is to avoid toxic chemicals that can harm the pregnancy, promote self-care, and ensure a happy and healthy pregnancy.  This quarterly subscription box is delivered 4 times a year.

What’s inside each box?

The recipient can expect 6-8 products, ranging from the sample size, premium size, and full size, tailored to their stage in the pregnancy journey or due date. Depending on whether they're trying to conceive or not, currently pregnant, or postpartum, they can expect to receive a curated selection of pregnancy-safe products ranging from health, fitness, skincare, personal care, and lifestyle products.  We even include products for the little one too.  Since this box is delivered 4 times a year, expect items to change with each season. 

Are your Beauty & the Babe products safe for pregnancy?

Absolutely.  Our founder and B&TB team source products all over the world that will not harm the growing bump. 

Why is it so important that I use pregnancy safe products?

As shared on our blog, there are countless harmful chemicals, which can cause birth defects that need to be avoided during pregnancy.   We can assure you that each and every product we include in our Beauty & the Babe boxes have been strictly reviewed to protect the baby.  Our team scrutinizes every product label, undergoes intense research, and gathers invaluable information on the customer experience.  The mother's wellness and baby’s safety is our #1 priority.

More recently, latest research from the CDC states that pregnant people are at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19.  Therefore during these challenging times, we want to especially protect you and your little one.  Why stress?  Opt out of in-person shopping and curbside pick-up, and opt in to convenience delivered right to your very doorstep. 

Can I give a Beauty & the Babe box to someone as a gift?

Yes, you can! We have a special option for you to gift any one of our subscriptions or boxes to someone you love - select your gift options here.

Which box do I choose?

If you're purchasing The Sparkle, which is one box, the choice is up to you.  Skip ahead to the next trimester or gift a postpartum recovery box or let us choose for you.  Your gift recipient will be ecstatic with any of these options.  If you're purchasing a subscription, we will choose the series of boxes for you.

What is your billing schedule?

When you purchase a subscription, you can expect to receive your seasonal Beauty & the Babe box in September, December, March, and June.  Depending on which quarterly subscription you purchase, you will be charged $109 (plus taxes) for The Shine or $106 (plus taxes) for the Glow at the time of purchase for your first Beauty & the Babe box. Afterwards, you will be charged a renewal fee of $109 (plus taxes) or $106 (plus taxes) on the 1st of each seasonal month for each Beauty & the Babe box until the membership is expired, paused, or canceled.  If you purchased a prepaid subscription, you are billed the total amount at the time of purchase.  All plans automatically renew after the subscription period, however, you can cancel anytime before your renewal date.   The Sparkle - 1 month subscription is not renewable. 

If you purchase a quarterly subscription between the 1st and the last day of the month prior to a seasonal month (August, November, February, May), you will be billed initially at the time of purchase.  However, you will skip the upcoming seasonal month and be billed with the next  subsequent seasonal month (September, December, March, June) on the 1st.

For example: If you purchase The Shine - 9 month subscription on January 1st, you will be billed initially at time of purchase.  You can expect to be automatically billed on March 1st.  If you purchase The Shine - 9 month subscription on February 15th, you will be billed initially at time of purchase.  You can expect your next automatic bill to be on June 1st. 

This is our automated schedule because we don't want you to feel rushed while going through the products from the first box.

Beauty & the Babe Inc is not responsible for any charges from banks or credit cards due to insufficient funds.

Can you tell me about your return policy?

What payment methods do you accept?

Beauty & the Babe accepts Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover as well as Apple Pay, Shop Pay and Google Pay. We happily honor all PayPal transactions too.

What if I become pregnant?

If you have purchased The Shine or The Glow subscription plan, please contact Customer Support, and we will transition your subscription to maternity boxes.

How is COVID-19 affecting Beauty & the Babe?

As COVID-19 forces us to collectively modify our lives in many different ways, our valued community has never been more important.  We understand that the arrival of your purchase can bring some joy and happiness in an otherwise difficult and stressful time. 

Consistent with CDC guidelines, we instituted frequent and mandatory hand washing for all.  Routine use of masks, eye protection, gloves, and hand sanitizer.  Social distancing of at least 6 feet.  Temperature checks and symptom screening throughout the entire day.  We want to ensure the utmost safety of your purchase.  

Please note shipping may be delayed anywhere from an additional 2-8 business days.
